A European Network of Excellence in Managing Threats and Vulnerabilities in the Future Internet: Europe for the World

Start date of contract / duration: 01.09.2010 / 48 months

The project is funded under the Seventh Framework Program of the European Commission.The main objectives of this project is the research of the methods and facilities, which enable the performance of breaks in the security systems and computer networks and information systems defense. Research and investigations connected with security and defense of the critical systems problems were implemented.

 

ETN TRICE    
 

ETN Teaching, Research, Innovation in Computing Education

Start date of contract / duration: 01.05.2010 / 36 months

The aim of this project which has started in the beginning of 2009 is the leading of the research and the innovation in computer education and training by analyzing the real situation, good practice between all partners exchange and high quality training in using innovation technology teaching. The project participants are groups from universities which research institutes and companies.

 

Idealist-2011    
 

Trans-national cooperation among ICT national contact points

Start date of contract / duration: 01.10.2008 / 36 months

The main objective of Idealist2011 is reinforcing the network of National Contact Points (NCP) for ICT under FP7, by promoting further trans-national cooperation within this network. This cooperation will not be reduced to only ICT NCPs but also a degree of collaboration and networking with similar networks in parallel themes (Security, SSH, ENV, Transport, Energy, Health, etc) especially in the context of joint/coordinated calls will be covered. Special focus is put on helping less experienced NCPs from Member States (MS) and Associated States (AS) to access the know-how accumulated in other countries and to apply it in a locally relevant and efficient manner.

 

EGI-InSPIRE    
 

European Grid Initiative: Integrated Sustainable Pan-European Infrastructure for Researcher's in Europe

Start date of contract / duration: 01.10.2008 / 48 months

Its mission is to establish a sustainable European Grid Infrastructure (EGI). EGI-InSPIRE is ideally placed to join together the new Distributed Computing Infrastructures (DCIs) such as clouds, supercomputing networks and desktop grids, for the benefit of user communities within the European Research Area.

 

SEE-GRID-SCI    
 

SEE-GRID eInfrastructure for regional eScience

Start date of contract / duration: 01.05.2008 / 24 months

The project is funded under the Seventh Framework Program of the European Commission. The project is a continuation of SEEGRID 2. Many tasks were performed, connected with Bulgarian Academic Certification Authority (BG.ACAD|CA) work and certificates for access to the GRID recourses of Bulgarian users are issued.
